Faith in Action for All Ages and Stages

KINGDOM KIDS

Our kids ministry is where little hearts learn how big God’s love is. We minister to children from Kindergarten through 7th grade, providing a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment where kids can grow in their faith. We partner with families to help children know, love, and follow Jesus. We create a welcoming space where kids can grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and learn God’s Word in ways they can understand. Through Bible teaching, worship, hands-on activities, and more, we plant seeds of faith that will last a lifetime and help each child discover who God created them to be.

Throughout the year we also host exciting activities including Vacation Bible School (VBS), interactive games, crafts, themed events, worship, snacks, and outreach opportunities that teach kids to serve others and share God’s love in their community.

All kids Kindergarten through 7th grade are invited! Come experience a fun, safe environment where faith and friendship grow together.

WBFB YOUTH

Our youth ministry exists to see lives forever transformed by the power of the Cross. We minister to students in 8th grade and above, providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where teens can grow in their faith. We encourage every student to faithfully follow Jesus by deepening their personal relationship with Him. Rooted in Galatians 2:20 and Matthew 5:16, we equip young people to live boldly for Christ, serve others with joy, make disciples, and be the light of the world in their schools, homes, and community.

Throughout the year we also host retreats, fun games and activities, worship experiences, leadership development opportunities, and multiple chances to serve the church, local community, and those in need.

All students are invited — whether they’re just beginning their faith journey or have been walking with Jesus for years. Come with an open heart and be part of a group that is passionate about following Christ together.

WOMEN ON MISSION

Our women's ministry (WOM) equips and empowers women to live on mission for Christ. This vibrant missions discipleship group helps women grow deeper in their faith while actively making an impact for the Kingdom. We exists to change the world for Christ by engaging women in the Great Commission.

We seek to live out our faith through missions projects, ministries, prayer, giving, and Bible study — all so that every person has the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. Monthly Meetings – Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
(Includes food, Bible study, and planning monthly missions projects)

Women on Mission is a place where ladies come together to grow in their walk with Christ, build meaningful friendships, and serve with purpose — both locally and globally.
All women are warmly invited to join us! Whether you’re new to missions or have a heart for the nations, there’s a place for you here as we pray, give, and go — changing the world for Christ, one step at a time.

More About Women On Mission

FOOD PANTRY

We believe faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Our Food Pantry is a practical expression of loving our neighbors as ourselves by meeting physical needs while pointing people to Jesus. We provide no-cost groceries — including non-perishable items, canned goods, and other staples — to families and individuals facing food insecurity in West Blocton and surrounding Bibb County. No one is ever turned away because of income, background, or church membership.

We also offer a Senior Box Program for individuals age 60 and older. This separate federal program is distributed by the mayor at the municipal building (located directly behind the church) on the same day and time as the Food Pantry.

All families and individuals in need are welcome. Come experience God’s love in action through the West Blocton First Baptist Food Pantry.
